My Favourite Products from Amazon
First, I do like to try to support local! But online shopping is definitely not as big of a culture here as I was used to back in the States. For one, there aren’t as many options for package deliveries. For another, there aren’t as many online shopping options! So sometimes I just gotta order from Amazin, especially while isolating at home.
Here are a few of my absolute must-haves that I’d recommend to anybody!
Massager
It heats up. It feels like hands. It’s heaven. I use this on my neck/back/shoulders but also my calves, feet, and lower back! Great for treating yourself or chronic pain. Or as a gift!
WoodWick Candles
This is my holy grail of candles. They have amazing scents, they burn slowly so they last, and their wooden wicks crackle as they burn for a really cosy atmosphere. My favourite scents are the exotic trilogy, magnolia, and fireside.
Sensor Magnetic Lights
These have changed my cabinet/press game. You can attach 3M magnets anywhere you’d like, and then easily move these lights between them. When you reach into those dark presses, the sensor will automatically trigger the light to turn on and help you find what you need.
Travel Clothing Steamer
We stay in AirBnbs a lot when we travel, which don’t always have an iron. This travel steamer is super easy to pack (I usually stuff socks into it in my suitcase) and heats up in just a few seconds, providing smooth photo-ready pictures. I use it a lot at home as well for blouses that I don’t want to iron.
Decorative Wreath
I originally got this wreath for Christmas but I really liked it for year-round so I ended up keeping it up. It’s super duper lightweight so I just hang it on a command hook and it’s good to go.
Smart Recessed Lights
Out of all of the smart devices we have, this is one of my favourites because you don’t even notice them. It’s just your regular ceiling lights only made colourful (if you want) and smart!
Glass Straws
A really elegant looking alternative to plastic. Plus, because they’re clear, you can see what’s in them for easy cleaning. Not pictured here: There are bendy straw versions.
De-Piller
Get rid of the pills on your clothes super quickly and easily. It’s so satisfying, and makes your clothes look way less worn.
Frames
These are Amazon’s own brand, and come in a few different colours, but this one is the one I picked. They’re good quality, and make for a really classic but rustic look. I love these for black and white photos or watercolours!
Popcorn Popper
If you’re wanting a healthier option for popcorn (and an option that produces waaay less waste), this is great. It’s so much quicker and easier than the pan version, and you don’t even need oil if you prefer to keep it even healthier. But if you do want butter, you can add your butter and salt straight to the bowl. It collapses for easy storage which is an added bonus.
Kitchen Torch
For a few euro you can make crème brûlée, baked Alaska, brûléed grapefruit, french onion soup, and more! The question is: Why not?
Bamboo Toothbrushes
I like these options for bamboo toothbrushes because the different coloured bristles make it easy to distinguish whose brush is whose. They’re a great eco-alternative to their plastic counterparts.
Crunchy BBQ Corn Snacks
These have the perfect snack texture to cure that crunchy craving, and taste really good. But they’re also a healthier option than traditional crisps. My favourite part is that they’re re-sealable, so they’re easy to travel with and also to have a bit of here and there without worrying about them getting less crunchy.
Roasted Chickpeas
I like the texture of these and they come in little self-serve packs so they’re easy to snack on the go and not over-eat. They have a few flavours, but I have only tried the sea salt so far.
If there’s something amazing on Amazon that I’m missing please let me know so I can check it out!
